There are over apps available to extend the functionality of SDL Trados Studio and they can aid you with a plethora of different functionalities, from being able to automate your translation, review and terminology processes to enabling you to connect to third-party machine translation providers.
But with so much variety to choose from, how do you know which apps are right for you? We appreciate that no two translators work in the exact same way, and whilst some apps may be very beneficial for some translators, for others they may be of no use at all. Below, I have listed some of what I think are the best apps to download when you are first getting started with SDL Trados Studio I have included apps which are great for those of you who are new to CAT tools and also ones that will benefit Studio users who already have some existing resources.
